Coverage and care are connected, but they are not the same question. A policy or authorization may help pay for support. It does not decide what will make a household work day to day.
Describe the need at home
Write down the help needed, the hours that are hard to cover, and the family’s available support. A provider can explain services and scheduling from that information.
Ask the coverage source for its decision
An insurer or the VA can explain eligibility, authorization, records, and claim requirements. Request answers in writing and keep the policy or authorization details with the family notes.
Bring the two conversations together
OPA can explain its services and provide information needed for a claim or authorized plan. The insurer or VA remains responsible for its coverage decision.
